Dear Compatriots,

It is unfortunate that a man need be placed in times of great strife in order to feel certain necessities, but nevertheless those times are now and the necessity is contained herein. There is a rising force currently attempting exertion over America and all of its citizens; a force that is attempting to move as quickly as possible to avoid clear inspection, as it’s well aware such clear inspection would expose the seams of its glamour, as well as its frail structure, and insure its end. This force is grounded in the shortcomings of our society. It perpetually recites these shortcomings as foundational blocks necessitating its existence, frequently portraying the exceptions as the rule while advocating actions against the orchard to correct a few bad apples. Worst of all it ensures the longevity of these shortcomings by both promoting them and hypocritically adopting their tactics. This force is now at the forefront of most of our nation’s attention thanks to its opportunistic seizure of an invitation by the American people in a time of heightened emotionality.

I am speaking directly about the current administration in the United States, an administration largely portrayed as democratic, though in actuality an administration that has no interest in democracy other then the utility it derives from democracy’s suggestion by words, images, and implied associations; in other words an administration that has harnessed the collective cunning of its intellectual members, media collusionists, and talented designers to erect a semiotic wall between itself and the public. One that I might add is hypnotically attractive to many at the same time as it is absolute in its specious nature.

The moments we spend each day are largely filled by gazing at individual bricks of this wall, which consist largely of rectangular incidences on a television, computer, newspaper, magazine, or poster. They portray this wall as a conduit, a mainline to the true inner substance of the administration or to relevant stories, phrases, or statements that coincidentally reflect favorably upon supporting that administration; but make no mistake about it, they operate this alleged conduit predominately in a contorted, one way direction, which should make it abundantly clear that democracy, that is rule of the majority, is not in their interests. To them democracy stands for rule of the selected majority, and they do the selecting. Qualifications include foremost an inherent ability to nod, bow, and stand in awe of pathological vanity.

It should be no surprise to see large-scale camaraderie extended to the current administration by the majority of media and entertainment outlets. Both function in nearly an identical fashion, tactically speaking. Sensationalism, façade, deterrence, and any other tools of creating “the show” are mastered. To have a town hall meeting crammed full of pre-screened participants, or an in-dept interview with pre-determined understandings of what questions are permitted, gives the illusion of democracy if not the actuality. Having a town hall meeting with unscreened members of the public expressing their outrage is portrayed as undemocratic and contrived; the exact opposite of what it in actuality is, for frustration surmounting composure is the purest form of genuine, earnest expression, unbridled by the forethought of civility or the devising of seamless performances, a tactic this administration and its media counterparts use to great allure.

The action of voting on a topic promotes this same professional appearance, regardless of the fact that the votes have been cast on unread legislation, and as it logically therefore follows; unconsidered legislation. Understanding how such disgraceful, irresponsible actions by representatives, whose decisions affect the lives of millions, can even be tolerated let alone supported, is extremely difficult to those outside the current administration’s way of thinking. As a result, it is now more imperative then ever that we as Americans scrutinize that way of thinking, deconstruct it by its actions and results not claims, realize its historical incarnations and implications, and probe into why it has so easily rooted itself in the consciousness of our country.

Each and every particular extension of this kind of thinking is fundamentally rooted in the universal imperfections, weaknesses, and faults we all possess and experience as individuals, however the approach is not encouraging, rejuvenating, or nurturing, but instead amplifying, embellishing, and exploitive. It is the kind of thinking that tells you that you are oppressed, entitled, and in many instances not responsible for your actions or inactions. It is the kind of thinking that uses relativity and ambiguity of definitions and meanings to draw connecting lines between unrelated matters, devising new, albeit manufactured causes, to infuriate the public. By these same vagaries it offers groundless, underdeveloped solutions and scoffs at questions or criticisms, all the while anointing the bearers of cost by divine right, regardless of consensus, and usually with the assistance of any finger pointers able to quickly be assembled by sloganeering.

It is first and foremost an ideology that exploits people’s fears, esteem levels, and frustrations. It offers anyone relief of responsibility by manufacturing enemies and reasons for your unfulfilled longings, all of which attractively reside outside of yourself. If you do not have enough it will tell you it is because someone else does and that someone is your enemy, it will tell you another group is offered certain opportunities that you are not because of your birth, beliefs, or otherwise. It will at every turn sow the seeds of dividing men from one another with its generalized language, which will speak of races, sexualities, genders, classes, unions, and ages but rarely individuals.  It will tell you things would be different if you succumbed to it’s benevolence and made sure others did as well, regardless of unsubstantiated reasons to do so. It would have you believe it knows better then you the convenient causes of your suffering as well as the remedy, then quickly offer alleviation of this seemingly top-heavy, difference of intellect between you and it simply by your joining of its ranks.

This way of thinking will grant you acceptance as long as you agree to surrender your individual identity and be resolved into a cause or category beneath its perpetually shifting agenda, one saturated with simplifications, idyllic buzzwords, and lowering condescension but often absent of specifics and evidence, endlessly speaking in divisionary terms under the guise of seeking equality. In this last point lays its truest nature, a nature of tyranny, treachery, and deception, always hidden beneath a thin presentation of a nature directly opposite.

It preaches of liberating things already liberated, and in the process of doing so returns them to captivity. Its dialogue is almost entirely composed of pretext, saying “reform” when it means destruction, “empowerment” when it means surrender, all the while using words as nothing more then sounds in ongoing attempts to find the right pattern to provoke the response it desires; acceptance, regardless of the actuality, plausibility, or validity of anything spoken.

Using “Change” and “Progress” interchangeably on campaign posters forwards the notion that the terms are in fact interchangeable. Saying we “have come back from the brink”, suggests there is actually some reason to believe it is so, though the reasons are not mentioned, or seen in actual new jobs, or everyday costs, or any results of any kind within our daily lives. Words and images, to this administration, are reigns for the people and nothing more, and worst of all they are proving successful tools by our own acquiescence. This acquiescence flows easier and easier as our experience of living relies more and more on images disconnected from their actualities. Their isolated form once a thin substitute, now an ever-weightier surrogate for substance; a portrait with a word on a poster relating colossal meaning where there is in fact only paper and ink.

It is essential to our future that we as Americans unite and scrutinize every action this administration takes. From its rapid, incrementally rising actions that occur nearly each day, from calls to report on your neighbor to its key figure’s incapacity for diplomacy, it is quickly becoming apparent to the American people that something is just not quite right. That feeling arises neither by accident, nor by paranoia, as the collusive media would have you believe, but instead by a heredity that is ageless, colorless, and timeless; a heredity of independence and an internal aversion to authoritarianism.

This administration and its like-minded exponents have invested heavily in belittling that heritage for too long. They have apologized for our convictions against tyranny and oppressors of the world. They have vehemently fought to take rights away from our nations contributors and bestow them on malevolent individuals whose actions and choices reveal that rights mean nothing to them. They have left the greatest accomplishments of our country out of their programming, neglecting to mention our global charity, or quality of care for our citizens, both of which exceed every nation the world has ever known. Conversely they will take every opportunity to spitefully inflate the faults of any figure, policy, or occurrence in our history in desperate attempts to overshadow any regards for those entities that isn’t in line with their thinking, regardless of comparative values.

The last decade or more has seen the contorting of  “American” into a dirty word at the hands of followers of this way of thinking. Upon hearing that word, the association or feeling conjured in younger Americans is in many cases one hundred and eighty degrees apart from that of many older generations. It is telling however that adherents to that negative association continue to utilize the opportunity, security, variety, charity, and potential granted to them by that title each and every single day.

The current administration would have you believe it is our government that creates that opportunity, as well as the other conditions mentioned. That is the fundamental, ego-driven, control-seeking deception it is currently attempting to foist on the American people, and it is not going very well.

The reason behind this is the simple, instinctual understanding we all possess as Americans. We in fact know, consciously or subconsciously, that it is in fact us that create that opportunity. It is us that create that variety, and it is us that create every other moment that adds to our growth and prosperity. We know only when left free are we able to do so. We are suspicious of constraints because we were founded by those bold enough to reject them, brave enough to flee them, and intelligent and foreseeing enough to declare a constitution that assures they will be severely limited in their propagation.

As an instrument of government itself, Thomas Jefferson once said, “My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government”. These founding ideas and their results are tested and proven, as are the results of massive government interventions and control. We have seen individuals born into poverty rise to prosperity, and we have seen breadlines. We have seen streets with churches next to synagogues and we have seen holocausts. We have seen celebrated individuals and we have seen celebrated ideas. We know which promotes our individual growth and which restricts it.

This administration would have you believe their actions are solving problems that they are in fact merely deterring, allowing to grow, and ignoring while creating new ones. And later, upon the problem’s return in larger incarnations, they will be the first to point the finger elsewhere as to its cause, for their smug ideology, as we have recently seen, makes no provisions for apologies, admission of mistakes, or acknowledgement of any wrongdoing.

It is an ideology of inflicting programs upon people, not offering them to people. The specifics of these programs are not discussed, in most cases because they are not even known. We’ve already seen the Waxman-Markey bill, all 1,200 unread pages plus a 300 page amendment added at 3:09am the day of its passing, get pushed through by these rubber stamp, yes-men, dubiously having the audacity to call themselves representatives of the people. Criminal enterprises of fiction have more scruples.

This infliction is necessary because, as some of their media-celebrity supporters, comedians, and false news actors have recently, openly stated “Americans are stupid”. Incidentally the entertainers I’ve heard utter this phrase were Americans. In any case it is a belief integral to their ideology, a belief of propagating division between others. Their misguided faith in their own superiority ensures they live perpetually divided from all around them who see the world differently. It is the most concentrated manifestation of vanity, a vanity so strong it doesn’t allow for compromise, acknowledgement of facts that contradict their suppositions, or admittance of faults or responsibility. It furthermore promotes a pretentious, absolute conviction solely based on the pretension itself. Solidarity only becomes possible through blind agreement, as the recent passing of unread bills clearly displays.

That is why the networks are filed with liberal commentators, many of whom are comedians, painstakingly scribbling away each day to develop snide comments, clever jokes, and cheeky insults against non-supporters of the administration or honorable members of other parties. The only fuel they have for their often substance-less theories, actions, or accusations, is deterrence; perpetual deterrence. They are empowered by shrinking attention spans, capitalizing on the revelrous bond created between pop culture personalities and viewers in moments of laughter, where the fact that a joke, no matter how well orchestrated, is merely a joke, is forgotten, and instead inflections of that joke become solidified as building blocks for allocations of support within the individual; anything that keeps the eyes away from the actualities.

This works equally well with the attachment of easily digestible, misleading, reductionary terms or phrases to candidates, efforts, or proposals that intimidate the public into agreement by predatory exploitation of their social timidity; specifically, political correctness or coercion at its finest. To see a list of such phrases or terms simply visit some of this administration’s many websites. You wouldn’t be against “fairness” would you? Or “empowering communities”? How about “the real world change our country needs”?

If you spend enough time flipping through these superficial, intangible, undisclosed plans of actions, there is a point when it becomes much funnier then anything comedy central produces. You wont find specifics, you won’t find answers, and you had better not have the nerve to ask any questions. The administration simply requests your nod and assistance recruiting your neighbor, which should prove easy since only a monster would be against “purifying energy sources”. Just don’t tell them that the bill, if enacted perfectly, would “reduce global surface temperatures by only one-tenth of 1 degree Celsius in 100 years” and cost about 80 million dollars per year, just like they didn’t tell you.

We’ve seen the current administration hide behind terse slogans and phrases, plastering them everywhere, or repeating them again and again at press conferences in response to questions that remain unaddressed. These attempts to solicit emotionally responsive support are both ongoing as well as the sole tactic that empowered the administration in the first place. This strategy successfully deterred many away from the absence of substance in their plans, substance they cannot speak of because of its total lack of existence.

They will attempt to keep the projection equipment moving, full speed ahead. They know perfectly well that if they were to show you the individual frames they would be so blurry you’d ask for your cost of admission back. But unfortunately for them, and until they attempt to take it away from you, it is your right and your duty as a responsible member of our society to demand to see each and every piece of their puzzle, fully assembled, in the broad light of day.

Suspension of disbelief is priority number one for the current administration, and they’ve accomplished it to unparalleled success. Millions have laid their security on the counter, leaving the store with a box whose cover is gilded by a collaborative masterpiece, comprised of words and imagery intoxicating to any person frustrated with the shortcomings of our world and its growing conflicts. However, upon returning home and opening the box, they’ve now found it empty, and while many store it away and continue to speak well of their purchase, it is only vanity that prevails. Many others are storming back to the store only to find its door closed, its phone off the hook, and its advertisements still running 24 hours a day.

Scrutinize your sources, resist intimidation, question, speak, attend, and share.

The next few years may very well decide the following hundred.

Be vigilant America.
